Planting onions isn't so bad after all!!  At the Moses Organic Conference, Mark and Jim saw a self-propelled machine you could lay on to weed and plant.  But it only held one person.  "We can do better than that!", we thought, so we built a series of trailers that holds eight people.  See it in action by clicking on this youtube:

Who said life is easy??  This youtube shows the battle with the cold to save the high tunnel crops at Bluebird Gardens:

Compost tea is a real treat for the plants!!  It is a combination of our Purple Cow Compost, their special food for the compost, Organic Gem Fish and black strap molasses.  Jim researched and built a marvelous compost tea machine that sends a vortex of oxygen into the swirling tea mix.  The tea is a terrific root drench or foliar spray.  Leaves, the energy production plant of the plant, become huge with compost tea!  Watch this youtube by clicking below:  4/5/12

This update shows our process of potato planting.  See it in action!!  4/5/12
